Visiting the Minimalism: Space. Light. Object Exhibition at the National Gallery of Singapore
June 20, 2019
I have always loved the arts in any form. So last March, when I saw an ad in Instagram about this exhibition, I knew I had to go there!
Mega Death by Tatsuo Miyajima
The exhibition started from November 16, 2018, until April 14, 2019. Luckily I managed to go there with my friend in March of 2019. We went there early on Saturday and so not many people were there yet.

Occasionally, there were groups of youngsters who came to take nice photos instead of actually looking at the art, but they didn't disturb anyone there, so I was okay with that.

The Minimalism exhibition was held at 2 venues: National Gallery of Singapore and The Art and Science Museum. Unfortunately, I only got to visit the exhibition at the National Gallery of Singapore and didn't get to see the other art installations at the other venue. That was a bummer!
Neon Light Installations 1970 - 2002 by Peter Kennedy
If you are into art, you would definitely have loved these art installations. The art installations by various artists are brilliant and their vision look far into the future.

The people working at the exhibition really guarded and took care of the arts. They were also quite knowledgeable in explaining about the arts and their meaning. It was nice to have people who we can discuss about the arts with. That was a really nice experience.

Room For One Colour by Olafur Eliasson
I really enjoyed my time there and probably spent a much longer time than I should. Needless to say, the art exhibition really opened my mind into seeing the creativitiy and vision of these artists. If there was another art exhibition like this, I would definitely go again.
